Will Figma Announce Design Tokens at the Schema Conference 2022?

Maybe yes, maybe not, but I hope so

This week, the Figma team tweeted that in October and November 2022, Figma would hold Schema 2022, their annual conference about design systems. The event will be on four days in 4 different locations.

The most frequently asked question from product designers is:

When will Figma launch a complete token system?

This feature is missing, and there is no native solution at the moment, so many designers have adopted different plugins like Figma Tokens.

Currently, there is a lot of discussion about Figma’s future after Adobe bought it, and many designers are skeptical about Adobe’s plans for Figma.

After Adobe bought Figma, there were many chats with Figma and its users because Figma wanted to communicate well and answer questions.

In the days following this discussion, I saw some tweets that Figma is working on integrating Tokens into the system. It seems very obvious and good that shortly we will have it.
